Oregon Hex Sign Sticker

$3.50

The history of hex signs dates back to the 19th century when they began to appear on barns and other buildings in the rural areas of Pennsylvania. Initially, they were painted as simple, single-color designs, but over time, they evolved into more elaborate and colorful patterns.

Hex signs are typically circular in shape and consist of various symbols, motifs, and patterns. Common elements include hearts, tulips, stars, birds, rosettes, compass roses, and other geometric shapes. These designs are often arranged in a radial or symmetrical pattern, creating an aesthetically pleasing and visually striking composition.

This design is my take of what a Oregon Hex sign would be. I used elements of flowers and animals that I have in my backyard as symbols of Oregon nature. I wanted to blend my heritage with something new and fun to represent my current location, which is the lovely state of Oregon.
