Share Your Voice Through Art
In a world that's constantly evolving, the Coastal Arts Guild of Newport, Oregon, invites you to pause and reflect through their 2025 Mail Art Exhibition: Postcards to the Future. This unique project encourages individuals from all walks of life to express their thoughts, hopes, and concerns for future generations.
What Is Postcards to the Future?
Postcards to the Future is a mail art initiative where participants create 5”x7” postcards featuring images, text, or a combination of both. The theme centers on our current experiences, historical reflections, and aspirations or apprehensions for what's to come. Topics can range from personal narratives and community stories to broader themes like environmental changes, technological advancements, cultural shifts, and spiritual insights.
Exhibition Details
All submitted postcards will be showcased from July 4–6, 2025, at the Don Davis Park gazebo in Newport, offering a scenic view of the Pacific Ocean. Additionally, there will be an online exhibition on the official website. Select pieces will be archived by the Lincoln County Historical Society, preserving these messages for future generations to discover.
