Come See “10 x 10: Something for Everyone” This August

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll have a piece in this year’s 10 x 10: Something for Everyone exhibition, opening August 1st at the Newport Visual Arts Center in Newport, Oregon. This unique group show, presented by the Coastal Arts Guild and American Easel, features original works from local artists—all starting from the same blank canvas: a 10” x 10” wood panel.

Same size, different visions. That’s the beauty of this show.

Every artist took that humble square panel and transformed it through their lens—whether through paint, collage, mixed media, printmaking, fabric, or other creative approaches. I loved the challenge of working within these constraints, and I can’t wait to see how everyone else pushed the format in their own way.

Come Check It Out!

📅 When? August 1 – September 27, 2025
🎉 Opening Reception? Friday, August 1, 5–7 PM
📍 Where? Runyan Gallery at the Newport Visual Arts Center (777 NW Beach Drive, Newport, OR)
💰 How much? It’s FREE!

This isn’t just a feast for the eyes—it’s a fundraiser with heart. Proceeds from panel sales go directly to the artists (including me!), while the purchase of blank panels helps raise funds for ongoing VAC programs and community art initiatives. So when you support this exhibit, you're supporting local art in more ways than one.

I hope you’ll stop by the opening reception or visit the gallery during the run of the show. There’s truly something for everyone—and I’d love for you to see my piece in person.

Let me know if you’re planning to go. I’d be happy to meet you there.
